Let your hosts, Captain Jim and Chef Patti, welcome you aboard the beautiful sailing yacht, Flamboyance. Jim and Patti are an energetic couple who are ready to help you fulfill your Caribbean dream.
Adjust to the island life with Jim, a U.S. Coast Guard Captain and PADI SCUBA Instructor. A native of New England, he was employed as a project engineer for a consulting engineering firm in Connecticut. The lure of the tropical climate and sailing brought him to the Virgin Islands, where he pursued his dream of buying his own charter yacht. Besides his love of sailing and SCUBA Diving, he also enjoys golf, skiing and racquetball.
Great food and fun are always on the menu, and Patti is the perfect hostess. One of the many highlights of your stay on Flamboyance will be the meals prepared by Chef Patti. While gourmet is the theme in all our dining experiences, she also customizes all meals according to your preferences. Prior to coming aboard Flamboyance four years ago, she came from a diversified dining background as restaurant owner/chef/manager. She also taught intimate classes for groups wanting to set up their own gourmet dinner clubs. Patti describes her Flamboyance culinary experiences as if she has invited you into her own home enjoying good company, food, wine and laughter.
